Questions About Selling Your Bike for Cash
What does MrBikeMan do?
We buy qualifying bicycles for resale. Start online with your bicycle details and original photos. Review your available cash offers, then choose pickup where available or a meetup.
Why is my cash offer lower than retail or an advertised price?
We are buying the bicycle for resale, not paying a retail price. An advertised price is what someone asks; it does not prove that a buyer paid it. Brand, model, condition, size, local demand and how quickly a bicycle may sell affect what we can offer. We also need room for repairs, pickup, storage, cleaning, staging, photos, video, advertising, technology, selling costs and a business profit.
Would I receive more by selling it myself?
You may receive more by finding your own buyer, especially if you can wait and handle preparation, listings, messages, negotiations and meetups. Our cash-buying service trades some potential resale proceeds for convenience and a direct sale. You decide whether the offer suits you; there is no obligation.
Do you pay cash or require me to buy another bicycle?
We make purchase offers, not store-credit offers. You do not need to buy another bicycle. Payment follows inspection, final verification and completion of the purchase.
Can you pick up my bicycle?
Pickup depends on your location, service availability and the offer you select. A submitted appointment request is not a confirmed appointment. Wait for confirmation before arranging the handoff.
Which bicycles do you buy?
We buy selected road, mountain, hybrid, gravel, commuter, triathlon and electric bicycles. Our accepted-brand list and condition requirements apply. Unlisted, unbranded and excluded brands are not accepted.
What if parts are missing or the bicycle needs repairs?
Describe the condition accurately and show the bicycle in your own photos. Minor maintenance may be considered. Missing essential parts, structural damage, uncertain equipment or other safety concerns may require review or make a bicycle unsuitable. A submitted photo does not guarantee acceptance.
How do I get a new offer?
Use the online bicycle form and follow the photo instructions shown there. New purchase offers are not provided by chat, phone, text or email. Support can help with an existing submission or appointment.
Does an online offer guarantee a purchase?
No. Offers are subject to verifying the bicycle, ownership, identity and condition. Final purchase and appointment availability must be confirmed.
Is there a fee to request a quote?
Requesting an online offer is free. You may decline the offer and keep your bicycle.
